Here is a new milestone, even for us, window cleaning the historic Burke Building, which is in downtown Pittsburgh. Why are we so interested in this? It’s because of the amazing history behind this building.

The Burke Building is the oldest office building in downtown Pittsburgh, designed by John Chislett and erected in 1836. Only the block house in Point State Park is older.

This building was Pittsburgh’s first major office building and a major anchor of the city’s financial district centered on Fourth Avenue. Since the 1845 Great Fire burned over a thousand buildings, it is the city’s only remaining large Greek Revival building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Of course the glass windows date only back to the 1960’s, but this building has such a historic background, we’re super happy to help with the window cleaning, so it will continue to stand strong for many more decades.

The building is now home to Stonewood Capital. When they needed to scheduled regular window cleaning, they received some referrals and spoke to us personally. They found that h2oTEKS Ltd was the best choice for them and thier window cleaning.

Regardless of how historic or brand new your facilities or home may be, trust that we we care for carefully while maintaining its beauty.
